Guitar and trombone shouldn't work, but, boy, it can, at least in the hands of fine musicians, like Natalie. I think it is notable she is a singer too. Perhaps, it is closeness to a voice and its articulations,.. analogue, not valved and sourced from vibrating body parts (!) not steel or wood or plastic, has some part to play? It is, perhaps, the most human of instruments.
